The Chén Kiểu pagoda is named by the local people, the pagoda is actually called Khmer Wath Sro Loun. In 1815, the pagoda was built very sketchily and nothing special. In addition, during the war, under the devastation of bombs, the pagoda's main hall was badly damaged. By 1969, the pagoda was rebuilt according to the architecture of today, including: main hall, sala, security tower, place to study sutras, ... During the construction process, due to lack of materials, the monks had called the people in the village to donate cups and plates to cover the wall. This idea has both saved construction costs and created impressive decorative motifs. Since then, the pagoda has been known by the people as the name Chén kiểu pagoda
